Mini-Ali and Mini-Dave arrive on site and immediately bag a prime parking spot....
So good in fact that after their long drive North from Spain they decide to pop the kettle on and relax before exploring the cathedral......
Feeling refreshed they decide to take a look around and inside Durham Cathedral.....
After exploring inside Mini-Dave and Mini-Ali decide to scale the heights of the Bell Tower for a better view.....
Where they bump into some of the construction team, showing how busy they've been so far.....
Time to chat to some of the other builders....is that Mini-Dave getting a little over-friendly with that lady builder? Is Mini-Ali looking a little jealous in the background?
Oh, she needn't have worried. Mini-Dave was just asking if she wanted a brew. "Yes please, thank you very much"....
Not content just to watch and boil the kettle, Mini-Dave and Mini-Ali decide to get hands-on....
Phew, this is hard work. Time to head back to their Lego Motorhome, mini-Homer, ready for the off....
But not before another well-earned rest stop in the cloisters.....
Thank you for a grand day-out at Durham Cathedral...."Hang-on, we've just found an even bigger one...how many bricks in that?".....
