We are saying goodbye to our private Alpine Spa this afternoon as we ready the motorhome and prepare to leave camping Saint James les Pins, just outside of Guillestre on the edge of the Queyras Regional Park, and head up towards Ceillac (
after our cycling recce the other day to check if the motorhome would cope with the road). We've been here for 3 nights longer than planned (8 in total) - showing how much we liked our quiet spot by the river as we continued to stay despite the ACSI discount ending.
Having enjoyed an afternoon cool off dip everyday (and on some evenings too!), we needed a final cool off. I enticed Dan into the Alpine Spa next to our pitch, by saying 'come on in the water's lovely......' and he believed me! Ha ha! The running stream did make for a nice but chilly back massage though.
"Come on in .... the water's lovely......"
"Really .... it is!!" (be brave and keep smiling!)

"Do you ever feel like you're swimming up stream!?!"
